Ditto.  We just got home last night.

So, after you wade through all the numbers, you can see that an
UltraSCSI RAID is only marginally faster than UltraIDE/33 for
bandwidth, but it really rocks for random access.

Guess what -- most workloads involve a lot of random access.
Especially databases.
