I personally have this card and have linux with it working on my
desktop at work.  I can answer some questions and guide you thru the
process if you need help.

The order of things needed are:

1) Get the latest linux kernel and compile that with DRI and AGPGART
support.  I can fill you in more on this later. [2]

2) Get the latest version of X (v 4.0.3) and follow the instructions
there on getting that working. [3]

3) Install the latest linux drivers from matrox.com.  I can send you
also my X configuration file to get dual head working. [4]

Matrox.com also has good forums to help folks out too.
