does anyone know of a "pure" distro of Linux? Debian hates my video card
and refuses to run X, Mandrake runs X but won't compile my video card
drivers or install anything that wasn't off their cd's, and i'm running out
of blank cd's for burning distros. Perhaps Slackware? maybe this is a
little high-handed, but i'm looking for a distro that has just enough to
compile the latest source of whatever i download without complaining, uses a
generic but correct directory structure, and doesn't have "rm -i" somehow
burned into ".bashrc".
