Good advice. Find something that is comfortable and learn it inside
out. When you feel you've hit the wall, and are confident that there
is no way what you have can do what you need, then and only then is
there real need to try something different. (Or make what you need
possible with what you have.)
Otherwise the scarring will be quite horrible :)
