Here is a link I found which shows the empty case by itself.

You could put in your own motherboard if you wanted, but the
system they've put together using an ASUS motherboard with
built-in graphics, sound, and 10/100 Ethernet seems fine to
me.

You can always add more. The specs say it will hold up to 1GB.

A non-issue for me (since I stopped using the CD tray as a
coffee cup holder years ago.)

It's $1149 the Pentium III 1000Mhz system with keyboard and
mouse and $1899 if you add Windows and an NEC 15" LCD monitor.
I think that's a good deal; definitely cheaper than a comparable
laptop, and it's built using an open architecture so you don't
have to buy into anybody's proprietary design (who sells generic
laptops anymore?)

I'd like to get one -- I think it's really cool! I don't
understand why you feel it would be stupid of me to do so?
No one else (that I know of) makes anything like this. And
PC Power and Cooling makes really good high-quality stuff
(and right here in America.) I've used their cooling fans
and power supplies for years. Do you know of anyone making
a better compact system than this? I'd love to see it.

Yeah, no usable expansion slots. But just like a laptop,
you don't really need anything else. I can't think of any
additional cards I'd want to add. Well, maybe a modem.
But I could use an external one on the serial port. And
if I ever get DSL, I'd just use the Ethernet to connect
to the router.

I don't know; I'm not sure if I have seen your orange box.
Thanks for the feedback, you guys.
