netfilter.samba.org is the source.  They have the howtos.

I have several simple scripts ranging from very simple to what I use for my
network here.  If you like, I can send them to you.  Rob was supposed to put
them up on the board. (*ahem* ;)

SNAT is part of NAT.  The other part is DNAT:  Source NAT (ip masquerade)
and Destination NAT (port forwarding).
