        The answer I'm seeing in an off-topic thread on LinuxToday is
something about a NAP called MAEWest being down, dropping 100% of its
packets and pings. Slashdot, SourceForge, and FreshMeat are on the other
side of that barrier.
        What an MAE or NAP are I leave as an exercise for the reader
(because the writer has no clue, not having run across those acronyms
before).
        The topic with this thread is at LinuxToday linking to a story at
OsOpinion called "AOLinux: Possible Reality or Really Impossible?"
        Any help?
