So would i, as far as i know seth and mike are out of town for the
holiday. And when they get back they are going directly into startup mode
and that means they probably won't have as much time to devote to the lug.

Most definitely.
As far as your concerns about time go, well, circumstances change, you
could think about what you're going to work on ahead of time and posting
it to the list, and keeping your sessions a bit more focused.
