What qualifies as a distro? My own take would be that it's any collection
of software that works together and can provide a complete computing
environment. aka run everything from the hardware up.

Of course this definition would include all sorts of commercial OS's QNX,
Inferno, and Others.

i'd like to see what the particular features are that make OpenBSD so
appealing to you. My own sense is that for me it would be like using an
armored truck to drive to work in the morning(overkill) but i'm always
prepared to learn different.

i'm actually interested in trying out netbsd at some point.
