There are too many people attending the clinic, too often, for
Stan's. We're welcome, but it's getting too big, especially with the loss
of the Weboleum space.
My attendance at clinics is spotty enough (OK, downright rare)
that this has been startling. The last clinic I attended filled all three
of Stan's storefronts, with spillage into the parking lot (and not just
the smokers were out there).
We have at least three choices.
Continue in Stan's middle storefont (with attendant spillage into
the PC Training space, albeit that's not always going to be available).
Premierlink, with somebody signing off as a responsible party for
liability considerations. (I haven't seen this space, but apparently it's
downright palatial).
Infiltrate the PC user group (http://www.efn.org/~epcug/). Some of
us might find paying dues onerous, though. They have access to some
adequate spaces. (EWEB, the library, etc.)
Or we could hold more clinics a week, on more days and even at
different times and places under different auspices. Nothing is written
(in stone or otherwise) saying we can't break out the clinics to more and
different venues.
