kBob and I were there representing the LUG,

Christopher Maujean and a coworker were there for PremiereLink

Mr. Schiff was not available.

Issues discussed were:

PremiereLink's liability exposure if they allow us to use the space, and
their need for a written proposal delineating what we would be doing.

EugLug's inability to commit to a contract since we aren't (as yet) a
chartered organization. The possibility of having every single person who
attends sign a liability waiver. The possibility of PremiereLink being
able to claim a tax deduction for donating the use of the space.

Nothing was decided. This week's meeting will be at Stan's while we figure
out what's possible.

My take on this is that the PremiereLink site may not be worth the effort
to us at this time. To go through with it properly we would need to have a
lawyer go over the paperwork and that would be more involved than i sense
we're willing to get as a group.

I'm going to pursue the efn angle and will hopefully have something to
report at thursdays meeting.

ps. oh yeah, a little shakespeare quote transliterated for bash
kill -TERM 'ps --Group lawyers -o %p'
