Better.. Better?
Better for what?
Mysql is fastest. Both mysql and postgress are free.
But Mysql is fast by dropping some of the hard
features.
Postgress is full featured
Mysql currently has problem swith persistant connections
and so has something that looks like a memory leak on your
machine, if you try to set up persistant connections.
But this will likely get fixed.
SourceForge just switched to Postgres
Mysql is easy to install.
Postgress is a bit harder, but not much.
So... Perhaps you could list your criteria that you are
trying to evaluate it against?
