But.... to eat and drink beer and make attempts to partake in an IRC can be quite much for some. It doesn't have that social geek atmosphere either. Nor may some newbies be able to set up IRC. The joy of the LUG is getting out of the house once a week to mingle with others of similar interest. I like the idea of bombarding my place here in Springfield but a few probably couldn't or wouldn't want to make it here. I allow beer and food :-) My next door neighbor doesn't care. I don't care about the downstairs neighbors. We're not loud or obnoxious so who would we bother? I'm trying to get my hands on any desks that could be used for workstations. Currently I can make room for at least two more computers. I've mentioned before, I've got cable, dhcp, and coffee. What more does a geek need? Field your questions, fuel my ideas. Later all.
