Is it possible that he had a hand in his own arrest?  Sort of like the the
academics who withdrew the paper on digital watermarking, shouting about 
their fears of being sued under the DMCA?  This guy's case is not perfect,
but it's a pretty good one if you want to get the DMCA thrown out...
