Right at the moment, it is entirely possible that other software
developers will be arrested for very little reason--Alan Cox, a major
British Linux kernel developer, has already said that he will not
travel to the USA for fear of arrest.  I don't think citizens are
immune; it's difficult to escape the sense that the people who
designed the DMCA would ban free software in its entirety, if they
could figure how to do it.
