The lack of ssh on Windows is easy to fix: Point your browser at http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/, and follow the "Download PuTTY!" link. The file you want is "putty.exe". There's nothing to install...just drop putty.exe somewhere on your hard disk and run it. - Neil Parker
