Ok, 
to merge about 3 topics, I'm attempting to install debian because I have that
same attraction to the Stallmanesqe vision of open source. 
I am attempting to add a firewall to my network and replace my FreeBSD DNS box
in one shot. So, please continue this firewall conversation, its something I'm
inexperienced in.
