Well, cramming made me miss the NuSphere seminar up in Portland this morning. Big deal. Of note, however, is an e-mail from NuSphere, an outfit that packages an easy install of Apache, Perl, PHP4, and MySQL along with (I haven't seen them) some improvements like "MySQL Enhanced" and "PHPeD" to create a development platform for database driven server side scripted web site building, ... well, NuSphere explains in their latest e-mail newsletter that they were "forced" to sue MySQL AB, the company that created that wonderful little database of the same name. Apparently MySQL AB is claiming that NuSphere is misusing its trademarks, violating it's GPL for MySQL, and generally being a bunch of greedy let's profit from this open source moon rocket assciholes. Anyone got the straight skinny on this conflict? Dennis
