I am attempting to install 2 Netgear FA311 network cards into a 100mghz and a 166mghz linux machine to be used as firewalls. I am using Debian. I had a friend configure another machine and we are now using it as a firewall in one of my stores and it works extremely well. I can not get either the 100 or the 166 to autodetect the network cards. I have tried using the tulip and the ne2000-pci drivers. I also have a 900 mgz machine that I tried to configure using 2 of the 5 network cards (all new) that I have. I have tried different combinations of the 5 cards with each of the drivers to no avail. Can anyone tell me how to proceed from here? Many thanks in advance! ----- End forwarded message -----
