I've checked everything I can think of.  When I do 'man rotatelogs' it
tells me to do exactly as I have done.  I have checked and double
checked for typos.  I have skimmed the entire error log.  I have
searched up and down google.  It's almost like somebody is playing a
prank on me (but not really).
