Meetings have been being held in the efn classroom and those lug members
who are active efn volunteers have been making progress in getting the
classroom fitted out with linux boxen (slackware 8 mostly so far) great
big applause to Jamie who is the king when it comes to rescuing antique
hardware.
So the anwer is yes for the efn meetings. Though we do expect to get a lot
of newbies as we start to publicise the clinics thru efn's webpage and
mailing list announcements.
The last few weeks we've been getting a relatively steady (but
growing!) trickle of interest in terms of linux and BSD related service
questions from efn members (6-8 requests per week is respectable).
The efn offices are at 448 charnelton and do feature a lot of networked
computers, if anyone is interested in clustering and showed up with a boot
floppy that had a mosix kernel and a laptop with the application image we
could probably get your basic cluster operating on the lan...
