If you're lucky, when BSD crashes, you get the ddb> prompt.  Obviously
ain't going to happen in power failure.  (What, no UPS?)  Anyway, you
can give a "boot snyc" command, which syncs the disks.  Or even better
"boot dump" which syncs the disks and dumps core before rebooting.
