SethSpeak is itself GPL, however, it uses a proprietary SethBrain module. This is legal for me to do, since I am the original author. I cannot release SethBrain, due to legal encumbrances mostly revolving around SethHair, as GPL or BSD. (And if I did release it as BSD, the Microsoft clone would be quite quite ugly.) The outstanding clones based on SethHair out there (more spawning everyday) are bad enough. If I released it under an Apache style license, I'd be scalped by my investors. Also, the encryption used is quite heavy. Until the Human Genome project has a backdoor installed, I doubt I'd be allowed to freely redistribute. In fact, so far I'm having a hard time finding anyone to redistribute with. Please note, though I do use GNU tools, RMS has decided that Seth stands alone, and he doesn't me to go around calling myself GNU/Seth, in fact, he wants me as far away as possible. (RMSHair and RMSBeard are also competitive products, and notice, HE hasn't GPLed them either.) stopping now, before someone gets hurt, Seth(tm) > > Ralph > > At 01:49 AM 9/26/2001 -0700, "Seth Cohn" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > >Run this thru the SethSpeak translation software (tm) and you get: > >
