You mean you want to remove the whole Unix
account thing?

good luck... that's a tall order.

If you log in as root, you WILL get a number of
things complaining that you shouldn't run them as
root.

Yes, you CAN avoid the whole login thing,
(Mandrake does), but if you try to run as root
all the time, you are asking for trouble.

Why not just leave a root logged in window open,
assign NO root password, etc?
