Was digging around in google groups (aka the old dejanews) since they've been adding more stuff, and found old of my old sigs (circa 1997):
"In my books, the name Seth Cohn is right up there with Serdar Argic, Robert McElwaine, Laurence Canter and Martha Siegel." - Michael Dillon *Subscribe to alt.fan.seth-cohn and never miss anything I say again on Usenet!* Gimme a Sethy snack? On the Internet, no one knows you're a crime solving dog. The scary thing about this sig is that even in 1997 it was showing its' age and by now it's truly an antique. 1) Anyone know who Argic (10), McElwaine(10), Canter and Siegel (5) were? The number in (#) is geekpoints awarded for knowing each one. 2) Usenet is a pale shadow of itself. alt.fan.seth-cohn isn't even carried anywhere anymore. 3) Does everyone know if you are a dog on the Internet now? Does anyone recall that phrase I was parodying. Cyber 'culture' is a scary thing... it expires so fast. 'in ye olde days' is a matter of years. Seth, feeling far older than I should...
