I think the answer is "_No_ parking at Mike's" for the short term,
and the long term is "We need to find a place to meet" Without going into details, EFN might or might not be a place for meetings, I don't think we can rule it out, but neither can we count on it. 1) A monthly meeting space is needed. Requirements include: a space for someone to speak to a group, projector (if possible), etc. Bandwidth is NOT 100% requirement but would be nice. EWEB is an option, I think. We need MORE options, so we can make a decision AND stick to it. 2) Weekly meetings? The 6 of us who went to Portland had a good time. The idea of making it a (semi)regular event was raised. It's a LONG trip (2 hours up and 2 hours back), so I doubt it'll be a monthly thing, but who knows... I suspect some group of people will usually be interested... if so, moving the weekly clinic, and/or making it not quite so weekly is an option. Having meetings less often makes it easier to find a space to meet... however, over the summer, people expressed a STRONG desire to continue to meet every week. (thus the Rebel meeting to start with). Maybe a mix of things will fufill people's desire to connect? With the SAO BrewPub, The tech lunch we are starting to hold, a few clinics mixed in, a monthly meeting, maybe Corvallis and Portland trips, etc... is it possible we could cut back on from every week to every other?
