I couldn't get Evolution to send mail through Prodigy at first either
but after fiddling around with my settings and giving up, the next time
I rebooted it worked.

Here are the settings that worked for me on Prodigy:
In Tools / Mail Settings / Edit Account / Sending Mail, I have SMTP
selected as the server type, secure connection is turned off, and
requires authentication is turned off.

The only other thing that may be a factor is on the identity tab:
are you using you @home e-mail address under required information?
Many services check this before they will allow you to send mail. If
you put some other e-mail address in there (like [EMAIL PROTECTED])
ATT may not allow you use their smtp server.

Hope this helps,
Dexter
