i checked a few web pages after getting all these acronyms (thanks guys!)
and i think i'm going to go for sh or a derivative.  off the cuff, does
anyone know if sh is still around and GPL compliant?  if not, zsh looks
pretty nice (just downloaded the manual...)

anyway, i'm going back to the LFS manual and see if i can find anything else
to change.  be back to bug y'all later.
