On Linux, type this.
$ md5sum Mandrake81-cd1-inst.i586.iso
146e585fc46463cb911fd7ac28e6ed69 Mandrake81-cd1-inst.i586.iso
If it prints a different number, download it again. (Or repair it
with rsync.)
On LossDOS, I don't know.
