Good evening All,

I hope you're enjoying your meeting. Seth and others... I have a senior
level position open in Corvallis for someone with heavy Linux server
experience. However, the client is seeking a myriad of skills, talents, and
expertise is TONS of other areas (pssst- including Windows 2000 Server/IIS-
don't yell, Seth :)- Java, C++, VB, etc. SOAP, XML.

For anyone with this montage, there is perhaps, an incredible opportunity
for you.

To anyone who provides me with a referral for someone whom I successfully
place for more than 30 days (it is a FT, contract to perm, at least 5 month
position), I will give $500.00.

Please call me if you'd like to discuss further. I wanted you all to be
aware.

Sorry for posting w/o permission, but it is urgent.

Thank you...
Have a wonderful evening!

Tasha Zahn

Subject: [EUG-LUG:3170] Re: Getting phpGroupWare to run

First question is Mysql running and setup to accept unix domain sockets?
The Mysql docs should allow you to figure that part out.

Another thing to check is if you set up the db for the correct user.
With Postgresql you need to create the database and grant permission to
the httpd user before you can configure phpgroupware, I asume it's the
same with Mysql.

Also check and make sure that phpgroupware is looking in the right place
for the mysql server.

HTH,
larry
