I have phpgroupware running. It will not allow me to open email, I get "There was an
error trying to connect to your mail server.
Please, check your username and password, or contact your admin".
I am using imap in the configuration file. I can open a telnet session to myserverport
143 and get the response that the server is ready, however I can not login. I think
the problem may be with my imap settings.
My imap file in /etc/xinetd.d reads

#description: this is filled in but I am not going to include it all
