Possible yes, wise, No. You're better off getting a staroffice install cd from someone and doing it clean and fresh, different distros make different design decisions as to which Java version they use. If you do decide to do it the 1337 way and just copy over the rpm, it might work, but if it doesn't you'll need to find out what's missing and twiddle with it quite a bit. I'm sure someone will have a staroffice cd at the meeting thursday, which is going to be at mr O's i believe.
