Hi Dan,

Does your TI Laptop even have a CD ROM drive? I don't remember 
from the last time I looked at it. Did you ever get that broken 
keyboard/mouse cable fixed? If I remember correctly, it barely
had enough memory and disk space to run DOS and Windows 3.1.
Does it have an ethernet connector? Probably not. Please post
the full specs of your laptop so that people more knowledgeable
about this sort of thing can determine if any of the current 
versions of GNU/Linux will even be able to install/run on it.
