All this really means is that the fan will be drawing less power (P = V * I). The origonal fan will draw 2.28 Watts where the new one will draw 1.68 Watts. So the new fan will save you some $$$. The only problem you may run into is that the new fan may not provide the same flow rate as the old one, but it **shouldn't** be that big of a deal......
