will the double paging bandwidth still hold true if both hard drives are on the same ide channel? if so, i'll definitely do that. otherwise, i don't see a need. and with 512mb of ram, my system will run just fine on 250mb of swap. it'd probably run just fine on 10mb of swap (experience with top has suggested so...) > > nothing will be done with X until i have a new video card, > > What video cards are you looking at?
