It's your project, and you should have the privilege of naming it
whatever you want.

In "Just for Fun", I learned that Linus originally called his new OS
"Freex", but the guy who gave him a directory on an FTP server named
the directory "linux" and that name stuck.  History would be very
different if that hadn't happened.
