Ask me what Echo and the Bunnymen have to do with OpenBSD. Anyway, Bob and I were at Emerald Park checking out the facilities there. They look good. They have several classrooms, and at least one of them has a network tap. (Ethernet LAN to a 384 Kbps DSL line) Large rooms, folding tables and chairs, electricity and bandwidth. Lots of parking for those of us who don't mind burning dinosaurs. Open until 10:00 PM, or a little later if we ask nicely. The *only* downside I can see is that it's about four or five miles from downtown. Here's a map to Emerald Park. http://www.rrpark.org/pages_info/district_info/frameset_info_district.htm So here is the official plan. (It's "official" because you guys foolishly elected me Prez.) Next Thursday, January 3rd, we'll meet at Emerald Park. The remaining Thursdays, we'll try different spaces, until we run out of spaces or we run out of January. Then we'll pick the place that worked best, and stick with it. Some more things to keep in mind: Alternate spaces. See the [EMAIL PROTECTED] list. I would also like to get the monthly Saturday presentations going again. Who has a topic? Justin, want to talk about LFS? Cory, FreeS/WAN? Jacob or Tim, OpenBSD? Rob Hudson is off in Peru tying the noose -- er, knot. Does anybody else have write access to the euglug web site? Can we put the meeting locations up? -- Bob Miller K<bob> kbobsoft software consulting http://kbobsoft.com [EMAIL PROTECTED]
