So, I now have a working OpenBSD laptop :) (sorry, I cant type a pufferfish....) Thank you Jacob :) Its pretty spartan though... I have TWM (Although it says fvwm, it looks more like tab window manager. I have network via the docking station (something windows wouldnt do...., well not acutally, it does find the network device, but does an endless Plug 'n' Play 'n' Play 'n Play 'n not work. It finds the CDRom (something Slackware and Mandrake didnt do, or I would have installed them...). I have installed mpg321, but sound isnt working properly, so I havnt been able to try it :( Things left to do:
1) get a more nicer guier gui (ie enlightenment, gnome, kde, ....) 2) fix sound! gotta have sounds :) I likes my musics 3) dhcp client (it would be nice.... I can do static, but would like dhcp) 4) mess with networking goodies (apache, mod_ssl, mod_perl, network monitoring tools, firewall stuff, ...) So... I have about 60 megs free to add gui and stuff, but where do I find .tgz's for to try outs? Jamie
