everytime i try to compile glibc, i get this error :
/bin/sh: BEGIN { subdirs = ""; inhibit = "" }; /^#/ { next }; /^[^-]/ { subdirs
= subdirs " " $0 }; /^-/ { inhibit = inhibit " " substr($0, 2) }; END { printf
"sysdep-subdirs =%s\n", subdirs; printf "sysdep-inhibit-subdirs =%s\n",
inhibit; print "sysd-dirs-done = t" }: No such file or directory
make[1]: *** [/usr/src/g/glibc-build/sysd-dirs] Error 127
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/g/glibc-2.2.4'
make: *** [all] Error 2
can anyone decipher this? i can't...
anyway, i'm sick of dealing with it. i need to have an LFS system ready for
tomorrow. although i found a couple of neat tricks to get the job done fast
(drop a good hour from the completion time...) i keep hitting this stumbling
block. and i'd like a workinf LFS-ish system for tomorrow.
i'm starting over. there goes my friday night! ah well, i can think of worse
ways to spend it...
