I am trying to change my company's email from Microsoft Mail using TFSgate a gateway program, connecting to Proaxis via dialup to handle my external email. I am moving to a Linux server running Bynari InsightServer. Most of the InsightServer configuration is complete but I am have problems configuring the external mail delivery and receipt. InsightServer uses Exim as its mail delivery program. I also have a DSL line to Proaxis so I plan to use my DSL If I read the /usr/exim/configure file correctly, I need to have have a line in the configuration file that directs the non local mail someplace. It looks like this should go in the Transports Configuration Section, I would guess under the remote_smtp: line. Also do I need to relay thru a mail server or will Exim just blast the mail to it's intended destination.
