I was also thinking of making a cd with all the packages that I want to add/delete and just keeping that in the cdrom drive..altough i kind of use it for music (I suppose I could easily do both... the packages may only take up 100 megs or so, I could use the rest for mp3's I kind of like mpg123 -Z its not as pretty as winamp/xmms, and has no visual plugins... but I have xdaliclock running in root with cycle option, so I already have a psychodelic desktop... I dont need no stinkin visual plugins :) Jamie
