I know this takes the fun out of it, but you have a fine opportunity for lossless compression here. Archive a bzip2'd copy of the kernel source they're using along with a copy of their reader software (speech.bot) then, with a "play list" and a bit of piping, you'll be able to play the _whole_ thing back at will, with every audio nuance intact. Wow. But, then, maybe it wouldn't really be lossless. There's no doubt some spirit of this event that can only be captured by a "live" recording. Nevermind. But, maybe you can work something out with Google ;o)
