One of the coolest packages to apt-get is: msttcorefonts - Installer for Microsoft TrueType core fonts
I was just amazed at the stuff it did. (OT: I've been wanting to try to use this tool -> cabextract - a program to extract Microsoft Cabinet files, on a cab file and see what's in there.) It goes to the microsoft.com website, gets the exe files for the fonts, and installs them for you. I stumbled on this howto one day. I scp'd a bunch of Windows ttf fonts to my directory, ran this how to, and now have lots of ttf fonts in gimp and in mozilla (and bitchx, etc.) http://www.octobrx.com/howtos/ttfont.howto -Rob -- Rob <rob_at_euglug_dot_net> my @euglugCode = qw(v+++ e--- eug+ bsd+++ gnu+ S+++);
