Senior Telephony Systems Engineer/Administrator
Required Skills:
AS degree plus 2+ years relevant, progressive work
experience in linux administration and call center
telecommunications (maintaining IVR's, CTI servers,
PBX's, etc?).
Understands how to build and maintain a highly reliable
telephony and data platform.
Strong customer service skills are required.
Working knowledge of data and telephony networking
(e.g. protocols like TCP/IP, ISDN PRI, Robbed Bit,
5EES, ?, routers and switches, ?).
1+ years with scripting languages, e.g. Perl, Python, etc?
Independent with minimal supervision
Preferred Skills:
Working knowledge of ASR applications using VoiceXML,
SpeechWorks, and Nuance. Ideal candidate will have
working knowledge of VoiceGenie's OA&M tools.
Experience supporting, maintaining and programming
the Avaya / Lucent Definity G3r switch and network
management platform, including the implementation
of ACD, call vectoring and CMS support.
Working knowledge of CTI using CT Connect (ideally
others such as Genesys, GeoTel, ?).
Experience supporting and maintaining web services through
IIS, Apache/Tomcat, Weblogic, ?
Understanding of voice application development methodology.
Knowledge of financial payment systems.
Knowledge of network security.
