For normal use, I really prefer the Orinoco cards.  The driver seems to be
much more mature than for the Prism chipset.  The biggest problem lately is
the warnings spewed out to syslog during use, and the fact that the driver
doesn't work at all for me with 2.2.18.  I had to copy in the driver from
2.2.17.

Justdeals has the orinoco silver cards for $52 -- worth the extra $15 IMHO.
Plus you get an external antenna port.
