Holy crap!!!  I just got hit with this...

It *completely* reinstalled windows over linux on
my workstation; looks like it was smart enough to grab
all my personal and /etc config's to a temp partition.
It rebooted, and now I've got a clean, configured windows
workstation.  Not so bad, really; now I can get some work
done instead of reading HOWTO's all day!
