I'm not sure where Mandrake puts it, but I believe the CUPS default
location for PPD files is ${prefix}/share/cups/model (where ${prefix} is 
likely /usr or /usr/local).

Then you'll have to stop and start CUPS to get it to recognise the new
PPD file; 'kill -HUP' doesn't cut it.  I believe the init.d script for
CUPS knows that, so you can probably just use 'restart' instead of 'stop'
and then 'start', but I don't have the script so I can't say for sure,
I just remember talk of that on the CUPS mailing list.
