I installed Redmond Linux over the weekend and found that it has a very nice
install, quite easy (except for the advanced disk partitioning section( i
have special partitioning needs)). I especially liked the multi-tasking
installer. It was installing packages midway through the install, with a
small % display at the bottom, while it asked me other questions about lilo,
etc. The default (and aparrently only) interface is a customized (or would
that be Kustomized) KDE 2.2. Nice. well thought out,
well built, I hope they continue working on this distro. I wouldn't use it
myself (preferring to do my own Kustomization), but it would make a great
starter distro for those who would have a harder time learning how to install
debian or redhat.
