The GNU grep manpage is pretty good starting point, and the perlfaq6 manpage has some advanced perl stuff. There are several places to view manpages online, the only one I know of offhand is http://www.openbsd.org/cgi-bin/man.cgi -- <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
