Mike,
Not sure what your problem is, but I can execute the file. Once I execute it, I get a big long EULA and then a do you agree or not message. If you want I could send you the post "yes I agree" file (.tar.gz). You just need to tell me where to put it.

BTW: You don't want to play CS with me. We used to play it everyday at lunch and for at least an hour after work. This went on for well over a year (maybe even 2+ years.. can't remember when it came out) until some whiny assed P.O.S. here complained about a "hostile workplace" (hostile workplace? I'll show you a hostile workplace....) and our lovely HR folks killed it. Don't worry, I got my revenge. You should hear them whine about getting spam'd :)....

Subject: [EUG-LUG:2551] gamers - Halflife & CS
Hoping somebody has done this. Any gamers on the list
that have setup either Halflife or CS servers on a
linux box? The CS server is a tar.gz, no prob there
but the HalfLife server is a .bin. I've tried chmod
a+x and u+x and then try running it. I error out with
some silly message about: error reading meta data,
Cannot allocate memory. Whats do I have to do to make
it work or WHERE can I find the HLDS in a tar.gz
format so I can just do it the ol' fashioned way?
I need the HLDS so I can run the CSDS right? That's
what I caught from the README. If you help me you can
frag me :-) It'll be an easy win.
Mr O
